EMR (Electronic Medical Records) define as a paperless, digital and computerized system where patient's medical data will be stored and viewed without any paper print. It is designed to reduce the cost of papers, reduce the risk of missing of patient records, reduce documentation errors, increase the efficiency, and to get easy and fast access to the records by the doctors, patients and insurances. EMR data will remain on online digital system. Implementing EMR is a complex, expensive investment that has created a demand for Healthcare professionals and legally it will be necessary for all doctors to use it in the future. Information on the EMR will be created, gathered and consulted within one health care organization other than EHR.
