  Is it posiible to block each and every pop-up ad?

I use Internet explorer still some few pop-up windows automatically appear and I cant switch to Firefox

So can there exists any such software which can block each and every pop-up, my avg still helps me in blocking only 60% of the pop-ups

You don't need any software to block the popups. Assuming that you are using the latest version of Internet Explorer (Version 7). Go to Tools - Internet Option - Privacy. Click on the settings button under the pop up Blocker heading below after clicking on "turn on popup blocker" In the settings tab- choose filter level as High.

If you are using older versions of Internet Explorer, it is time to update your browser!

 

And if you are using Firefox, Go to Tools - Options  - Contents; there you will find the check box "Block pop-up windows", you should check this box to block the pop-ups.  Similarly, in all browsers there would be a option to block pop-ups
